Project Amrut
Implemented across Bhum and Shirur in Maharashtra, Project Amrut strengthens water security through location-specific water conservation and groundwater recharge interventions. In Bhum, the initiative focuses on scientifically designed water harvesting structures and community-led water management to improve water availability and agricultural resilience. In Shirur, it promotes rainwater harvesting, watershed development, groundwater recharge, and community participation to secure water resources for households, agriculture, and community institutions. Across both geographies, the project contributes to long-term water security, climate resilience, and sustainable rural development.
